Beatrice Kobow
Beatrice Kobow received her PhD in Philosophy from the University of Leipzig. She has been a research assistant to Prof. Georg Meggle in Leipzig and Prof. John Searle in Berkeley and lecturer at both universities. She was a fellow at the “Kulturwissenschaftliches Kolleg” at the University of Konstanz. Currently, she works as researcher at the CRAL/EHESS in Paris with a grant from the DAAD & MSH. In 2011, she will commence a Dilthey Fellowship of the Volkswagen Foundation at the University of Leipzig with her project “The Leap into Language - The Constitution of the Social Self between pre-intentional Background and self-reflexive Cogito”.
